I have made a right choice by staying in hotel Caesar in Pesaro. I should note that this took place in early May, so the weather was not hot yet and beaches were empty (and they are steps away from hotel). The staff was great (even though some of them did not speak English, but that is understandable, so you might want to know few words in Italian). Room was large and clean, and well maintained. The breakfast was basic, just like in any other Italian hotel of this level. Now, the central, historic part of Pesaro is within 10-15 minutes walking and train/bus station is about 15-20 minutes of walking. From there I ventured out to Urbino, Loreto, Ascoli-Piceno, Ancona (train), Gradara (bus), Fano (train or bus) and all of it was fun.
Well, it was a holiday time for the high-schoolers when I was there, so it was a bit noisy, but not until late hours, so one could rest well.
Very old ( antique) furniture. Rooms, bathrooms furnishing need renovation
The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was enough. Parking excellent. A really good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Quiet lcation at that time of the year.
Good location, nice and helpful staff, breakfast good enough (for Italy). Bar at the reception with the terrace.
No air conditioning (in a 3* hotel!!), only ventilator. Lift functions very slow, not enough for plenty of guests.
very good value for many, kind staff, close to beach and city center, simple but good breakfest - fresh cakes, free hotel parking
no air condition
Proximity to beach, and handy for town centre. Off-street parking very useful.
A small point, but wi-fi not available eveerywhere in hotel as claimed, but only in reception area. However, free!
Beautiful place and view from the 4-th floor. Nice swimming pool, nice staff.
Pretty small rooms, troubles with table for breakfast if you did not buy lunch and supper too. Sometimes the dishes were not clean...
The internet connection (at least in any rooms) was almost unavailable (very weak wi-fi signal).
Staff helpful friendly; enjoyable breakfast.
I thought this hotel represented excellent value for money, being very close to the beach and historic centre and having a buffet breakfast included in the price.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The decor in the breakfast room was remarkably tasteful and well chosen - the design, the colours, the chairs .... The en-suite bathroom was very nice.
The colour of the furniture in the bedroom was rather depressing.
I expected there to be wifi in my room, but there was only a signal in the lobby.
The bus stop from train station is right outside the hotel which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is small but the lobby was very warm and comfortable to just sit for a chat, unlike major big hotel lobby. Hotel staff does not speak excellent English but very helpful and willing to communicate. The hotel is quite old but it's very clean, the balcony in the room is also nice for a drink :) The single bed is small, even for a size 10 lady like myself. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel but we visited in the low season and they were both closed. The area around the hotel is clean, tourisy but quiet. It is very close to the beach, within 2 mins walk. The only downside is that it has no supermarket/ stores around so buying any necessity would take a bit of a trip to the town centre in about 10-15 mins walk. Overall highly recommended for it's price, it is a very comfortable stay and thank you!
We wanted to sleep-in in a morning (afterall it's a holiday hotel next to the beach) but the cleaners were very loud chatting in the corridor which made that impossible. We visited in winter and would be nice if the shower can be hotter, however it was acceptable.
